Professor Subra Suresh is Founder and President of the Global Learning Council; Vannevar Bush Professor Emeritus at MIT and former president of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He also led the U.S. National Science Foundation and was awarded the National Science Medal in October for his exemplary achievements in science, technology, and innovation.
