The aim of the Summit was to address the climate and biodiversity crises holistically through interdisciplinary cooperation to accelerate systemic change.

03 Villars Institute Distinguished Lecture - Plenary Session

Professor Tim Flannery is a globally recognized scientist, explorer, and conservationist. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed scientific papers and has named 25 living and 50 fossil mammal species. His 32 books include the award winning The Future Eaters and *The Weather Makers*, which has been translated into over 20 languages.

Professor Flannery will give the inaugural Villars Institute Distinguished Lecture and will explore the principles of tribal cooperation discovered during 20 years of field work with indigenous communities. He will explain how to apply these principles to break down the silos and barriers preventing us from achieving a Net Zero and Nature Positive economy.
