Magdalena Skipper, Editor-in-Chief of Nature and Chief Editorial Adviser for Nature Portfolio will give the 5th Villars Institute Distinguished Lecture. Nature was founded in 1869 and has published many of the most significant scientific breakthroughs in modern history. Dr. Skipper is a geneticist by training and leads Nature’s magazine and research editorial teams. Dr. Skipper is passionate about mentorship, research integrity as well as open and equitable research practice. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council for the UK Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists and a fellow of the International Science Council.
