Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

The Villars Institute's mission is to accelerate the transition to a net zero and nature positive economy. To do so, one of our levers of action is lifelong learning. Our learning and training initiatives focus on systems change and intergenerational collaboration. As an innovative learning platform and leader in systems thinking education, we strive to curate educational activities which empower communities to lead the change for a more sustainable future.

Our Programs

Systems Leadership Program

The Systems Leadership Program is an intergenerational course, created in collaboration between the Villars Institute and Minerva Project. The program is designed to introduce systems thinking skills to young and adult learners in a highly interactive and intergenerational way. Learners collaborate with peers, such as other Villars Institute Fellows, Factuly members and Experts of the Villars Institute Community and, together, build their capacity to lead positive change in the world.

The Systems Leadership Program consists of three 4-week (8-hour) courses that take place throughout the year.

Villars Music Academy

The aim of the Villars Music Academy is to introduce an interdisciplinary and intergenerational approach to help talented young musicians to reach their full global potential through masterclasses given by leading soloists, public performances with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker, and group coaching from experts in nutrition, fitness, and psychology.
