T'IKARY seeks to promote the value of native biodiversity in Peru through environmental education and the promotion of intergenerational knowledge transfer. Over the past year, we developed a sticker book about the biodiversity of Lake Titicaca in collaboration with six schools in the region, and we built two greenhouses in Puno to support the promotion of native seed diversity and traditional farming methods. Looking ahead, our goal is to make biodiversity and sustainable practices an active part of student engagement in high schools around Peru.
