The Systems Leadership Program is an intergenerational course, created in collaboration between the Villars Institute and Minerva Project. The program is designed to introduce systems thinking skills to young and adult learners in a highly interactive and intergenerational way. Learners collaborate with peers, such as other Villars Institute Fellows, Factuly members and Experts of the Villars Institute Community and, together, build their capacity to lead positive change in the world.
The Systems Leadership Program will help you build a foundational knowledge of systems thinking that can be applied to complex adaptive problems and will help you to develop the skills to generate and build sustainable solutions to complex systemic challenges. Each course is delivered by Minerva's virtual deep learning platform (Forum™), providing an unmatched virtual classroom experience, including group discussions, breakout sessions, dynamic polling and real-time simulations.
The Systems Leadership Program consists of three 4-week (8-hour) courses that take place throughout the year:
The completion of all three courses will enable you to adopt the mindset and important skills needed to become a systems leader. You will also receive a certificate of study attesting that you have completed 24 hours of intergenerational learning on systems leadership.
